  • For verified and unverified Personal Starter accounts, you can receive up to $400 a month and $2000 lifetime. Whether verified or unverified, you must upgrade your account to Personal Pro to receive more than $400 a month and $2000 lifetime.
  • For verified Personal Pro accounts, you can receive an unlimited amount of funds. If your account is unverified, you can still receive funds, but you will be required to verify your account to send or withdraw your funds.
  •  Sending money is free with a Personal Starter, Personal Pro or Business account.
  •  For verified Personal Starter or personal pro accounts, you can send an unlimited amount of money at one time. If your account is unverified, you will be able to send a limited amount of funds as we impose monthly and yearly limits until you verify your account.
  • You can load funds by bank transfer, credit card, certified check, cashier's check, money order or bank wire.You agree to provide Payza with your own banking information. Payza does not allow loads by third parties for security reasons. You must initiate your own bank transfers and wires from your own bank.
  • If you load funds by bank transfer and the amount is unpaid due to non-sufficient funds, a closed account or a stopped payment, you will be liable to pay a $25 fee per incident. Please ensure that you provide accurate data before initiating a bank transfer.
  • You have the option of withdrawing to your bank account by bank transfer or bank wire or by requesting a check, according to the Payza services available in your country.
  • If you withdraw funds by bank wire or bank transfer and the amount is returned due a closed account or unable to locate, you will be liable to pay a $25 fee per incident as well as any other associated fees passed on by correspondent banks. Please ensure that you provide accurate data before initiating a bank transfer.
  • You can earn extra cash through Payza by referring others to our service through a link on your website or in an email. You can earn $5 USD for every qualifying referral and $10 USD each after your tenth. To qualify for the reward, your referral must sign up for a Personal Pro or Business account and send/receive at least $250 USD.
  • The Resolution Center is an area dedicated to filing, responding to and resolving disputes between Payza members.Transaction disputes between the customer and the seller are managed within the Resolution Center within the member's account. Disputes must be filed within 45 days of the completed payment transaction.
  • Payza members may only file one dispute per transaction. When the customer files a dispute, the seller is immediately notified. The seller then has seven (7) calendar days to respond to the customer. If the seller does not respond within this time-frame, the dispute will be escalated.If the dispute is not resolved within fifteen (15) days from the time it was initiated, the dispute will be escalated.
  • The Role of the Resolutions Specialist
  • If you are found in violation of this User Agreement and all terms herein, we reserve the right to fine you a penalty of $500 and upwards, depending on damages and the severity of the violation and the liability you cause to Payza and/or our professional partners. Sites that sell banned products or services are subject to immediate account termination.
  • We may hold your funds for up to 180 days if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability;
  • At this time, Payza cannot provide services to the following countries:

  • A Bank Deposit Code is created once a member completes a bank deposit. Bank Deposit Codes are issued to all bank accounts outside of United States and Canada. This code is required when the member visits their bank and must be included in the "Details" or "Reference" area of the bank transfer. No information other than the Bank Deposit Code should be entered in the "Details" or "Reference" area of the bank transaction. A missing Bank Deposit Code may cause delays in completing the transaction. 
  • allows a member to convert funds from one currency to another. The currency exchange is adjusted regularly. An additional 2.5% is charged on top of the conversion rate.

  • Referral Link
    A link found in a member's Payza account that they can send in emails or apply to their website. When someone clicks on the link, the member who sent out the link will receive a reward if the referral meets the necessary qualifications. Part of the "Referral Program".

 What is the difference between a Personal Starter and Personal Pro account?

 Our Personal Starter account is the perfect account type for making payments, sending funds and receiving a limited amount of money. With our Starter account, it is completely free to send and receive money, however it is only possible to receive up to $400 per month or up to $2000 for the lifetime of the account. Once a Personal Starter account has reached either of these receiving limits, the account will automatically be upgraded to Personal Pro.

A Personal Pro account is the perfect account type for a small to medium sized business as well as individuals who wish to receive payments greater than the receiving limits of the Personal Starter account. With our Pro account, you will have access to numerous selling tools, including Payment Buttons, Instant Payment Notification (IPN), Encrypted Payment Details (EPD), our Mass Pay feature and more. As with the Personal Starter account, it is completely free to sign up and send funds . However, there will be low receiving fees of 2.5% + $0.25 per transaction.*

 What is the difference between a Personal Pro and a Business account?

 Our Personal Pro account is used primarily by sellers who have one website or business. The Pro account has one Business Profile which includes your business name, website URL and customer support information. If you have two or more businesses/websites, the Business account is best as it provides unlimited business profiles. In other words, you can easily manage more than one business/website with our Business account as it allows for multiple business names, website URLs and various sets of customer support contact information.

Our Business account will also display your business name to customers on your Checkout page and in emails. When a customer makes a payment on your website or responds to an Email Invoice or Request Funds transaction, they will see your Business name, rather than your personal name. In contrast, our Personal Pro account will display your personal name to customers on your Checkout page and in emails.

How much does it cost to withdraw funds?

The amount it costs to withdraw funds will depend on the withdrawal option you choose. To view the withdrawal options which are available to the residents of your country, please visit our local payment options page.

What are the fees for credit card payments?

When a credit card payment is completed, receiving fees will be applied to the Payza member who received the payment. It is always free to send money with Payza and so the member who is making the credit card payment will not have any applicable fees made to their Payza account. For more information regarding our fees, please visit our Fees page.
 

Is there a fee to open a Payza account?

Opening a Payza account is absolutely free. Fees are charged when you add, withdraw or exchange funds with your Payza account. Personal Pro and Business accounts will also be subject to fees when they receive funds, while Personal Starter account holders do not pay receiving fees on amounts below $400 USD per month.

What are the fees for receiving Payza balance payments?

If you have a Personal Starter account, it is completely free to receive Payza balance payments. For Regular Personal Pro and Business accounts, the fee to receive a balance payment is 2.5% + $0.25 per transaction. If your business is considered Regulated, the fee to receive balance payments will be 3.90% + $0.59.

What are the fees for the account types?


Personal Starter accounts can receive up to $400 USD per month for free. While it is always free to send money with Payza, Personal Pro and Business* accounts will be charged a low receiving fee to receive payments. All account types will also have applicable fees to add, withdraw, and exchange funds.  

What is the exchange rate for sending and receiving payments in other currencies?  

The foreign exchange rate includes a 2.5% spread above the wholesale exchange rate at which Payza buys its foreign currency. Exchange rates are adjusted regularly. To calculate the current exchange rate between two different currencies, please follow these steps:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the green “My Payza Account Main Menu”
3. Click on "Manage & Exchange currencies"
4. Use the Currency Calculator on the right to calculate the exchange rate between currencies within your Payza account

How do I transfer funds from one currency balance to another?

If you would like to exchange currencies in your Payza account, follow these steps:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the green “My Payza Account Main Menu" button and then on "Manage & Exchange Currencies"
3. Select the currency balance you would like to transfer from and the amount to transfer
4. Select the balance you would like the amount transferred to and click on “Next”
5. Review details and click on “Confirm”
 

What is the fee for a check withdrawal?

The fee for a check withdrawal is $4 USD. All checks are sent by regular mail from North America. Checks are sent in USD and are issued to the name and address that appear on your Payza profile. In order to avoid any delays, you may want to ensure that your financial institution accepts USD checks from a US bank account as well as verify the clearing time for this type of check.Please note: The check withdrawal option is currently only available to Payza members in the US.

 

Who pays the fee when I make a payment?

When you make a payment with Payza, the member who is receiving the payment may be charged a fee to receive the funds. It is always free to send money with Payza and so the member who is making the payment will not have any applicable fees made to their Payza account. For more information regarding our fees, please visit our Fees page.

How long can I keep my account open?

You can keep your Payza account for as long as you wish and we will never charge monthly or yearly fees. However, if your Payza account is not accessed for a period of 18 consecutive months, it will be considered Dormant in our system. Dormant accounts are subject to a fee of $10 per month that they are Dormant. In order to avoid receiving this fee, we would suggest logging into your Payza account each month. If your account is considered Dormant due to inactivity, it will return to an Active state once you have logged in.

If I close my account, will I be able to re-open it at any time?

Yes! If you would like to open a previously closed Payza account, you will need to contact our Customer Support department: https://www.payza.com/support Once we have located your account and verified your identity, we will be able to revive your Payza account so that it can be used.

How do I become verified (International Member)? 

You can verify your account by completing one of the following options:

Option A: bank transfer/wire deposit
Option B: credit card validation OR
Option C: phone validation AND check withdrawal.  

How do I enter my credit card validation charge in my Payza account?

If we’ve sent you a small charge of $1.00 - $2.00 for the validation of your credit card, you will need to enter the amount of the charge in your Payza account in order to complete the procedure. Simply follow these easy steps to validate your card:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the “My Payza Account Main Menu” button and then on “My Credit Cards”
3. Locate the credit card you would like to validate on the link in the “Validation” column

You will be given a field where you can enter the amount of your validation charge. Please note that you will only need to enter the cent amount of your charge. So, if you were charge $1.62, you will only need to enter the numbers 62.

Once you’ve validated your credit card, your monthly limit will be increased to $1000.

How do I validate my credit card by the Authorization Form method if i'm outside of Canada/US?

Validating your credit card is easy! First you'll need to add your credit card to your Payza account. If you haven't yet added your card to your account, click here for instructions.

Once you've added your card, you'll be able to choose between one of two credit card validation methods. To validate your card by the Authorization Form method, simply follow these easy steps:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the “My Payza Account Main Menu” button and then on “My Credit Cards”
3. Locate the credit card you would like to validate and click on “Validate Card”
4. In the “Validate by Authorization Form” option box, click on “Validate your Credit Card”
5. Click on the blue “Authorization Form” link and print out the form
a. Sign and date the form
b. Scan the signed form and save it on your computer
c. Scan the back and front of your credit card and save them on your computer*
6. Return to the Credit Card Validation page and upload all three documents to your Payza account
7. Verify your submissions and click on “Send”

Your documents will be reviewed in 3-5 business days. Once your documents have been approved your credit card will automatically be validated and your card’s limit will increase to $1000 USD/month.

*For security reasons, please feel free to block out certain information when scanning your credit card and uploading it to your Payza account. When scanning the front of your card, be sure to block out the first 12 digits of your credit card number, ensuring that the last four as well as your name is visible. When scanning the back of your card, please ensure to block out your CVV, while ensuring that your signature is visible. You should be able to do this using an Image/Graphics software like Windows' Paint.

What is bank transfer/wire deposit verification (international members)?

This verification method allows you to deposit money into your Payza account by bank transfer or bank wire. All you have to do is follow these steps to get started:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on “My Profile”
3. Click on “Account Verification”
4. Select bank transfer or bank wire from the list of options
5. Follow the instructions to add your bank for verification purposes

Once you have successfully added your bank account, you will be able to use it for subsequent deposits without having to add the information again. Bank transfers are completed in 4-6 business days and bank wires in 2-4 business days. Furthermore, you must deposit a minimum of $50.00 USD (or equivalent) for verification. Please also note that bank wire deposit fees will be waived if the deposit is completed for the purpose of verification. However, bank transfer deposit fees will not be waived.

Where do I confirm my credit card validation charge?

If you received a charge to your credit card for verification purposes, you will be able to confirm the amount of the charge in your Payza account. To confirm the amount of the charge, follow these steps:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the "Main Menu"
3. Click on "My Credit cards" under the "Manage My Money"
4. Under the "Validation" column, click on the hyperlink and enter the amount that was charged to your card

Once you have successfully entered the amount of your validation charge, your credit card will be validated and your limit will be increased to $1000 USD per month.

Please note that you must confirm the original amount of the charge in the original currency. If your credit card issuer exchanged the amount of the charge to your local currency, please contact them to know the original amount of the charge made by Payza.

Will I have to pay the bank wire fee for verification (outside North America)? 

In order to provide as many verification options as possible to our International members, we will be waiving the usual bank wire deposit fee when the deposit is initiated for the purpose of verification. However, please note that the minimum amount you can deposit to complete this procedure is $50.00 USD. Please also note that we will not waive the fee for a bank transfer deposit.

Why should I become verified?  

Verification enhances the security of our network and maintains our compliance with anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist funding legislation.

Verification of a Personal Starter or Personal Pro account is necessary if you would like to lift the limits on transactions. Although you do not need to be verified to receive funds, we can ask you to verify your Payza account at any time if you want to deposit, withdraw or send money without limitation. You will also need to be verified if you would like to withdraw funds by bank wire or if you have a Personal Pro account and would like to receive credit card payments.

Verification is required for all Business account holders. If you wish to deposit, withdraw or send money, you will have to verify your Payza account. You may also need to become verified if you require a password reset or wish to change your country of residence as it appears in your Payza account.

If you would like to become verified, simply login to your Payza account and click on "Main Menu" and then under the "Account Verification" section, click "Verification". Once on our Verification page, you will need to complete as many verification procedures as indicated.

Once I have verified my Payza account, will I ever need to verify it again?

No. Once you have successfully verified your Payza account, you will not need to verify it again in the future. However, Payza may ask for additional verification documents at any time to ensure the security of your account and our network. For more information on this, please review section 10.1 of our User Agreement.

Is verification necessary to deposit, withdraw or transfer funds?

If you have a Personal Starter or Pro account, you can deposit, withdraw, send and spend funds with an unverified account. However, if you would like to lift the deposit, withdrawal and spending limits on your account as well as be able to withdraw funds by bank wire, you will need to become verified. We may also request that your account become verified at any time as per our Terms and Conditions: https://www.payza.com/legal-agreements/terms-and-conditions-international. Business accounts must be verified in order to deposit, withdraw and send money.

How long does it take for account verification?

The time it takes for your account to be verified will depend on the verification procedure(s) you choose to complete. How do I add my bank account for bank transfers outside of Canada/US?

If you are located outside of Canada and the US and would like to add your bank account for bank transfers, please follow these instructions:

1. Login to your Payza account

3. Select the country where your bank account is located and select the bank transfer option*
4. Enter your bank account details and click on "Next"

How do I withdraw funds by bank transfer from my Payza account?

First ensure that you add your bank account details to your Payza account. You can verify whether your bank account has already been added by logging into your accont, clicking on the green "My Payza Account Main Menu" button and then on "My Bank Accounts".

If you have not yet added your bank account details to your Payza account, click here if your bank is located in the US, here if your bank is located in Canada and here if your bank is located outside of Canada and the US.

If you already have added a bank account, and you would like to create a bank transfer withdrawal, simply do the following:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the “Withdraw Funds” tab
3. Under “Electronic Funds”, click on “Bank Transfer”
4. Select the balance you would like to withdraw from
5. Select your bank account
6. Enter the amount to transfer as well as any additional details and click on “Next”
7. Review details and confirm

The Transaction created is in "Pending status" until we have released your funds to your bank account.

How do I add my bank account for bank transfers outside of Canada/US?

If you are located outside of Canada and the US and would like to add your bank account for bank transfers, please follow these instructions:

3. Select the country where your bank account is located and select the bank transfer option*
4. Enter your bank account details and click on "Next"

How long do bank transfers take to complete?

If you are an International or US Payza member, bank transfers will take 3-5 business days to complete. If you reside in Canada, bank transfers will take 3-6 business days to complete.

How do I cancel a bank wire withdrawal?

If your bank wire withdrawal is still in the "Pending" state, you will be able to cancel the transaction in your Payza account by following these instructions:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the green "My Payza Account Main Menu" button and then on then on "History"
3. Locate the transaction in question and click on the "Pending" status
4. Click "Cancel Transaction"

How do I withdraw funds by bank wire?

To withdraw funds by bank wire, you must first set up your bank account on Payza to perform bank wire withdrawals. If you have not yet added your bank account, here are the steps:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on  the green “My Payza Account Main Menu” button
3. Click on "My Bank Accounts"
4. Click on "Add a Bank Account"
5. Select the country where your bank account is located, choose Bank Wire, enter your banking details and click on “Next”
6. Review details, accept any authorization requests and confirm

If you have already added your bank account for bank wire withdrawals, follow these steps to withdraw your funds:

1. Login to your Payza account
2. Click on the “Withdraw Funds” tab
3. Under “Electronic Funds”, select “Bank Wire”
4. Enter the amount to withdraw, transaction details and click on “Next”
5. Review details and confirm

How long does it take to process a bank wire withdrawal?

Withdrawals by bank wire are processed within 2-4 business days of the request and are offered in the following currencies:

•  USD ($)
•  Euro (€)
•  GBP (£)

Please note that your account must be verified in order to withdraw funds by bank wire. For more information about verifying your account click here.

Bank wire withdrawals are not permitted in your primary currency if localized bank transfers are offered in your country. For example, a US member can only withdraw by bank wire in Euro and GBP.

*Please contact your bank to verify if they accept wires in the currencies listed above.  Also, if you would like the funds to be converted to another currency after you receive the wire, you must verify with your bank whether the funds will be converted automatically upon receipt or accepted as USD, Euro or GBP.  If the funds are accepted as USD, Euro or GBP, you may need to have your bank convert the funds to your desired currency afterward.
                
 

 

Is there a fee to withdraw by AlertPay Prepaid Card?

The fee to withdraw funds to your AlertPay Prepaid Card is $1.00 CDN or USD, depending on the currency of your Prepaid Card.
